Registration Information

The Appleton Area School District requires enrollment for new students (4K - grade 12) and annual registration for existing students (KG - grade 12). Enrollment for the upcoming school year for new students begins in July. Annual registration for existing students begins at the end of May.

What do I need for Enrollment/Registration?

The parent/guardian should be prepared to complete an online application containing demographic information, emergency contact phone numbers, name and phone number of your child’s doctor, medical information, and language information.

After your child’s online application has been submitted, you may be asked to provide a birth certificate and immunization records to your student’s school.

Meet and Greet 
August 29, 2018    
4:30-5:30 pm 

The elementary Meet and Greet event at your child’s school usually takes place the week before the first day of school and is an opportunity for families to meet their child’s teacher, principal, and other staff members, as well as drop off school supplies.


New Families

 

New families need to notify the office of their intent to enroll their student(s) at any point prior to and throughout the summer. After new families have notified us of their students’ enrollment, and have filled out enrollment paperwork, they may go through the line as existing families would to register their students.

The parent or guardian should be prepared to fill out an enrollment form, home language form, student immunization record, health, and emergency cards when registering your child(ren). 

Materials to bring with you when you register include:

  • A birth certificate for the child(ren) being registered into Kindergarten
  • Verification of address; a utility bill, bank statement, or home phone bill with your correct and current address, or rental agreement
  • Immunization records for the child(ren) being registered

Registering Later in the Year

 

After registration dates and times have passed, families (new or existing) can come to the office and take care of enrollment and registration anytime during office hours.
